John Mannelly, DDS

Family and General Dentist

My name is Dr. John Mannelly and I am excited to serve the Barrington community! I was born in southern California and then spent my formative years in Minden, Nevada near the Reno-Lake Tahoe area. I received my undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Nevada. I continued my education and received my DDS degree from the University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry. I received an excellent wide-ranging education in the many facets of dentistry. While at USC, I had the pleasure of serving the community at places such as the Union Rescue Mission, the USC Mobile Dental Clinic, and the dental clinic at LAC+USC Medical Center.

I have been practicing for over nine years and I enjoy my profession every day. I pride myself on providing a comfortable trustworthy presence and demeanor, as well as being communicative and compassionate. I truly enjoy serving my patients and providing great care and attention.

I am a father to two young children, a boy and a girl. We are active in the Barrington community with school, sports, and activities. When out of the office I enjoy fishing, camping, traveling, and spending time with my children – they make my life wonderful. We like to be active, especially in the summer when we spend as much time as possible outside.

I look forward to meeting each of my patients and providing excellent care.

William Gallagher, DDS, MS

Endodontist

My name is Dr. William Gallagher and I am thrilled to be your new endodontist. I grew up in Okemos, Michigan, and am excited to start working in the Barrington area. For the past 12 years, I have been serving in the United States Navy where I have traveled around the world practicing dentistry and learning leadership.

I attended Albion College in Albion, Michigan for my undergraduate degree and finished with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a double-major in Economics & Management and Music Performance. I then completed dental school at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before entering into military service as a full-time Naval Officer and General Dentist. I completed residency training in endodontics at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland, where I became proficient in root canal therapies, including re-treatments and endodontic surgeries.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Michelle, and beautiful new daughter, Vivian. My hobbies include golf, scuba diving, hiking, motorcycle riding, and hanging out at my family’s cabin in northern Michigan.

I feel very fortunate to join the team here and carry on the proud tradition that they worked so hard to develop.
